Our Occupational Therapy service provides both indoor and outdoor mobility assessments and training to clients using both manual and/or powered mobility devices (wheelchairs and scooters) that do not ordinarily qualify for registration as a motor vehicle.
Information and referral forms for Powered Mobility Device Assessments are downloadable below along with PDF resources that provide a rough guide as to the cost and time required for such assessments to be undertaken with a new or existing user of the device.
Training is also available for new users wishing to optimise their competency and safety and all aspects of use will be covered including storage and transfers.
