Our Occupational Therapy service provides both simple and complex home modification assessment, recommendation and specification reporting for individuals with access and/or participation requirements at home or in the wider community.
Rehab Alive has developed networks with local government agencies as well as private builders to ensure that modifications can be completed by the most appropriate service for the individual.
Rehab Alive have had significant experience working collaboratively with tradesmen to support the smooth coordination of major home modification projects and further information regarding the extent of involvement and works undertaken can be provided upon request.
The requirement for providing home modification assessment and advice is to ensure that the environment is designed to suit an individual’s physical and/or cognitive needs and provides them the opportunity to participate and function effectively, optimally and safely.
