DANIELLA

Daniella Graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) in 2001 from the University of Western Sydney. Daniella initially started work with a vocational rehabilitation provider before transitioning to work in the hospital system.

Daniella gained experience and exposure to a broad range of diagnostic groups during this time, finally determining a preference for work with neurological caseloads.  Daniella’s work overseas in the UK and upon return to Australia continued to be focused on neurological rehabilitation in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with exposure to complex orthopaedic cases gained during this time.

Daniella completed an MBA in 2011 and by the end of 2012, having transitioned out of the hospital system, and through public and private community-based settings, started her own private practice, specialising in providing neurological rehabilitation to the private sector (predominantly motor accidents and workers compensation).

In 2015, Daniella incepted a sister company called the Tas Ergonomic Collaborative to fulfil a niche market and provide specialist ergonomic assessment and consultancy services. Today this entity provides ergonomic services that are separate to the clinical occupational therapy services provided by Elevate OT Services (previously trading as Rehab Alive). Both companies are busy and remain in full operation noting that the focus of Elevate OT Services today is Aged Care and, to a lesser degree, compensable motor accidents.

Daniella continues to enjoy working with clients who have degenerative neurological conditions and complex orthopaedic needs or spinal cord injuries.  Daniella has since completed a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health Safety and Ergonomics (2017) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Innovation and Design Thinking (2019).
