ROB RICKARD, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST has worked in a wide range of Occupational Therapy roles in regional and remote areas over the last 29 years. After many years working in Aboriginal health in Northern Australia he returned to part-time study and completed a master’s degree in public health. 21 years ago he made a sea change and moved to North West Tasmania. Over recent years Rob has worked in the area of specialist Disability Services as both an OT and as a team manager of the assessment and advisory team.

Over the length of his professional career Rob has focused on supporting people to continue living as independently as possible in the community, whether that be in their own home or in a supported setting. To achieve this he takes a client-centered problem-solving approach to all of his work.
