EION JENNINGS has worked as an Occupational Therapist since graduating from AUT University, Auckland, New Zealand in 2006. Eion then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation for the Visually impaired and an Orientation and Mobility Instructors qualification in 2008.

Eion’s clinical speciality is low vision and he has extensive experience working as both an Occupational Therapist and Orientation & Mobility Instructor in this area. Eion moved to Tasmania in 2010 to work for Guide Dogs Tasmania as a senior clinician, firstly in Launceston and then Hobart.

To develop his clinical skills, Eion moved from his specialty area to inpatient and community-based Occupational Therapy in 2016. Eion has worked at Calvary Care Tasmania as both an inpatient rehabilitation and acute hospital Occupational Therapist as well as working part-time within the aged care sector servicing clients living in their own homes.
