Acquired Complex Injury Recovery & Rehabilitation
Elevate OT provides occupational based interventions to optimise quality of life and functioning post-acute or chronic orthopaedic injury (eg. joint replacement surgery to spinal cord injury) or acquired neurological injury or degenerative disease (e.g., traumatic acquired brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, MND, Parkinson’s Disease and Huntington’s Disease). Elevate OT provides the following services:
Equipment identification for both short and long term requirements:
Environmental modification to improve access and provide increased opportunity to participate in activities within and outside of the home as well as in the broader community
Identification of assistive technology to support independence
Retraining participation and modifying activity requirements in all aspects of daily living to optimise function
